Introduction
An effective communication refers to a verbal speech and/or other methods of relaying information. It involves the use of clear and simple terms as well as active listening, absorbing the point and understanding it.
Common barriers to effective communication
The use of Jargon; this involves the use of unfamiliar or technical and over-complicated words and expressions which makes effective communication to be misunderstood.
Taboos and Emotional barriers; some people find it hard in expressing their sentiments/feelings while communicating and some topics are completely considered as a taboo such as sexually related matters.
