ABSTRACT
This project is about clinic management system developed using C SHARP(C#) and MYSQL. This system is a standalone system which is installed on clinic computer system.
The project work is guided by three major chapters that is chapter one, chapter two and chapter three.
Chapter one introduces the clinic management system and the different management levels of the system. The problem statement has been has been identified under this chapter since most health centers are still using manual systems in managing records, generating reports as well as making procurement and managing the appointments.
The chapter ends with the project objective that should be achieved at the end of the project system development.
Chapter two covers the literature review under which the background of the proposed system has been discussed Literature review aims at reviewing the existing systems so that in case there is one that meets the needs, then it can be adopted instead of wasting time and other resources re-inventing another.
Chapter three covers the methodology used in developing the system. The methodology applied in this case is waterfall model which follows the steps of system development life cycle (SDLC). This is because it was best suited for a system that can be deployed in parallel changeover mode. The steps discussed under waterfall model include: requirement gathering and analysis, system design, implementation, integration and testing, deployment of the system and maintenance. Other types of software methodologies discussed include: spiral development and rapid prototyping. The chapter ends by discussing the requirements for the proposed systems that is both hardware and software requirements.

The system will also help to ease the process of data retrieval, this is simply done by searching for the required data, and within short period of time the data will be retrieved. Unlike the current manual system where you are required to go through a lot of files and papers to get the required data.
