Health Law
The health of each person and populace is governed by a health law. This also governs the delivery and management of health care systems (World Health Organization, n.d.). Specifically, this is important in implementing laws for the improvement of crucial health dogmas such as the universal health coverage; launching a system that consolidates a country’s health care system; safeguarding the health care of the public; shielding the public from preventable and communicable diseases and other risk factors; guiding the management of different hospitals, clinics, etc.; regulating the training and practice requirement of health care providers; managing the safety and effectiveness of the drugs, as well as the medical equipment; respecting patient rights such as right to privacy and right to information; paying attention to the modifiable and non-modifiable risk factors of non-communicable diseases such as smoking, eating habits, lifestyle (active or sedentary), drinking of alcoholic beverage, etc.; and standardization of the methods of collection of health information (World Health Organization, n.d.).
