The four nobler truths concentrate on the idea of suffering, its cause, how it can be avoided, and the consequences of the suffering.The first noble truth is “dukkha”, which is translated to mean “life is suffering”. The noble truth can therefore, be translated as the truth of suffering, which entails the true meaning of life (Van Gordon et al. 12).The second noble truth is “samudaya”, translated as the truth of the cause of suffering. The “samudaya”examines the cause of suffering and finds out that greed is the major reason for suffering among human beings.The third noble truth is “nirhodha”, which is the truth of end of suffering. The end of greediness leads to the end of suffering. The forth noble truth is “magga”, which is the truth of path that frees humanity from life suffering.
