By definition, leadership traits are personal and professional qualities that help define effective leadership. They determine the ability of a person to guide and steer an organization toward fulfilling the set objectives by maximizing efficiency (Farrell, 2011). Leaders have the responsibility to offer guidance, motivate others, build morale, initiate action, and improve the work environment with the aim to achieve optimal productivity. Based on these facts, there are desirable qualities that can make an individual a better leader depending on the organization, work environment, and style. It implies that leaders must learn to flex their style in order to communicate effectively to individual team members as well as motivate them to behave in line with organizational culture.

I admire Tom Armour’s leadership traits because he emphasizes integrity, engagement, and empowerment. Undeniably, integrity remains one of the ingredients of effective leadership since it focuses on adherence to values, core beliefs, and ethical responsibility. It also allows leaders to show a high level of commitment to organizational goals.
