Education is an essential right for the development of a child and crucial for the growth of any country. Education is important in economic growth since it helps eradicate poverty and disease by equipping the human resource personnel required in various fields with the vital skills and knowledge. Globally, there has been a growing concern to enable easy access of education to everyone; this is as a result of international accords (European Agency on the Development of Special Education, 2006) such as “UNESCO 1994 (Salamanca declaration of the special needs program), UN Agreement on the Children rights, 1989, and the UN International accord on Individuals with disabilities (2000). Studies show that students are people with different cultures and characteristics, and therefore the policies developed to raise the standards of education should be considerate on the student’s understanding and robustness.
The inclusion and reservation of inclusive education programs in schools depends on the structure of the systems and resources available. For the case of special needs students, additional resources are required to avoid discrimination in inclusive schools (McDermott, 2015, p. 293). The syllabus content, teaching practices, and the general learning environment are factors that should be considered while integrating inclusive students in to the system. Intellectual practices by tutors which involve collaboration and friendship lead to full engagement leading to prosperity by the students.
