Teamwork can be defined as bringing people together, thus working toward achieving a specific goal (Leonard, 2018). In the 21st century, business leaders have been able to identify that teamwork is essential to a company's success compared to days business thrived with individual’s abilities and tactics. Furthermore, for this team to excel, a leader's role is essential in managing and developing a team that attributes to success. Strong leadership, adaptability, effective communication, and better-skilled conflict management are tips usually involve information of a successful team (Schatz, 2019).
To begin with, understanding the task assignment is one of the reasons why leading a team is essential (Leonard, 2018). Understanding the task as a team is more straightforward than understanding individually since team members can discuss the assignment as a group, thus making it easier to find solutions. Also, leaders should explain how one job task is intertwined with the entire goal; therefore, team members can understand and complete the assignment.
