Identification of Focus for Community Teaching
Cardiovascular illnesses have surpassed cancer as the main cause of death in the previous decade, with about 12,389 fatalities each year. The rising incidence of fatalities from cardiovascular illnesses in Phoenix is similar to those seen across the state. Adults must be educated on the risks and consequences of cardiovascular disorders, the most serious of which is mortality and stroke CITATION Stu19 \l 1033 (Sturgeon, 2019). Middle-aged people should also be taught good habits to avoid heart diseases, such as physical activity and a balanced diet.
Epidemiological Rationale for Topic
According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, there are at least 92 million adults in the United States who suffer from cardiovascular disease, and the CDC predicts that by 2030, at least 44% of the population will have some form of cardiovascular disease CITATION Khe19 \l 1033 (Khera, 2019). Cardiovascular illnesses are expected to cost $1.1 trillion in medical costs and lost productivity. The mortality rate from cardiovascular illnesses in Arizona is lower than average. In Arizona, women die at a rate of 178 deaths per 100,000, compared to 212 deaths per 100,000 in the national median, while males die at a rate of 261 deaths per 100,000, compared to 310 deaths per 100,000 in the national average.
Teaching Plan Criteria
Nursing Diagnosis:
Sedentary behavior and a lack of a well-balanced diet. Diets rich in fat and a lack of physical activity are also factors.
Readiness for Learning
The students will be required to participate in open conversations about cardiovascular illnesses. They are also expected to inquire about the causes of cardiovascular disorders and strategies to reduce the chances of developing such illnesses. The students must also express their opinions on interventions that will help them gain a better understanding of cardiovascular illness, as well as be prepared to debate cardiovascular disorders.
Learning Theory to Be Utilized
The initiative will make use of experiential learning. Experiential learning theory emphasizes the importance of encounters in learning CITATION Kuk18 \l 1033 (Kuk, 2018). This method of learning is focused on observing and reflecting on one's own experiences. The transformation events provide knowledge. I'm going to concentrate on middle-aged life stories with cardiovascular illnesses as a learning experience. The change will be used to assist the middle-aged in digesting their encounters with cardiovascular illnesses.
Goal
To improve cardiovascular health by preventing, treating, and delaying the onset of various risk factors for heart disease and stroke through early detection methods. HP 2020 will serve as the project's foundation since it outlines the measures that must be taken to reduce cardiovascular disease mortality rate, such as early preventative techniques.
How Does This HP2020 Objective Relate to Alma Ata’s Health for All Global Initiatives
Alma data's health is related to HP 2020 for all worldwide projects because one of the company's main goals is to reduce global health disparities. The provision of information to middle-aged adults about cardiovascular prevention and control practices and early prevention procedures, such as early diagnosis and healthy diets, will decrease death rates, eliminating the risk of health disparities in racial minorities and the elderly, who are most adversely affected by cardiovascular diseases.
Develop Behavioral Objectives (Including Domains), Content, and Strategies/Methods:
Behavioral Objective
and Domain
Example – Third-grade students will name one healthy food choice in each of the five food groups by the end of the presentation. (Cognitive Domain)

Content
(be specific)
Example – The Food Pyramid has five food groups which are….
Healthy foods from each group are….
Unhealthy foods containing a lot of sugar or fat are….

Strategies/Methods
(label and describe)
Example – Interactive poster presentation of the Food Pyramid. After an explanation of the poster and each food category, allow students to place pictures of foods on the correct spot on the pyramid. Also, have the class analyze what a child had for lunch by putting names of foods on the poster and discussing what food group still needs to be eaten throughout the day.

A presentation of families afflicted by cardiovascular illnesses, with an explanation of how the households have been impacted by cardiovascular diseases. The high expenses of addressing cardiovascular illnesses, for example, will be addressed to middle-aged individuals. They are expected to discover strategies for early management and detection of cardiovascular disorders.

Creativity
Since the middle-aged sought to develop preventive strategies for the early detection methods they had employed, the preventative charts and early detection graphs provided a chance for a classroom approach. Use visuals to highlight key points in the presentation.
Planned Evaluation of Objectives
1 Post-test and pretest-evaluation of the middle-aged participants' knowledge of cardiovascular illnesses, as well as their information gained t
