Introduction
Health Administration also Healthcare Administration is the field that deals with management, leadership, and administration of public health plans, hospital networks, health care strategies, and hospitals (Gilpatrick, 1999). Health care administrators are also called health care professionals. The individuals who work around the hospitals and their clients face many problems.one major problem is poor communication caused by the inadequate modern technology (Georgopoulos, 1986). Fairmount health Centre has performed as our hospital since we are familiar and we have access to it.
Problem in hospital administration.
Inadequate modern technology- all hospitals and health care services need modern technology (Gilpatrick, 1999). The new technologies does numerous functions such as communication, it is also used in therapy and surgery, There’s not a place of healthcare that is not being impacted widely by technology. Medical centres through the globe, for example, are using millions of dollars on electronic medical record strategy that enables physicianss and hospitals to seamlessly share patient information (Georgopoulos, 1986).This is the proplem that the Fairmount medical centre is largely encountering and it has lowered its productivity and pulled down the development. Description of the problem
Problem: Poor communication between providers.
This prevents liaison between physicians, mentors and patients of other nurses. It causes increase of length of stay, increase some rework and poor rate of information flowing. This provides and arena that hinders decisions to be made. By the installation of modern technologies, it increases communication between providers. Patients will then have the best healthcare experience with less redundancies, and physicians will have a good understanding of what happens to a patient when another provider takes over. The problem of poor communication is characterized by;
Too many avoidable patient days. Fairmount medical Centre is characterized by avoidable patient days caused by poor communication. Patient days can add up quickly if providers aren't focused on moving patients to other facilities or their homes once appropriate. The patient waiting for discharge will occupy a bed when there is no medical necessity,
Desire for physician integration but very few employed physicians. The Fairmount Health Center employs around 10 percent of its physicians, meaning the vast majority of the facility's providers are independent (Danet, 1973). This ricochets the old-fashioned model of physician practice, but it can mean hospitals struggle to integrate physicians in order to take advantage of bundled payments.this is a result of inadequate information caused by lack of modern technology information.
 
 
The importance of the problem
Identifying the problem is a crucial part of solving it. The causes and the origin of the problem is the determinant of how the problem will be solved. The strageties and planning is the second phase of tackling it. Analyzing a problem and taking immediate action in addressing it is a way of meeting the organizations goals and objectives (Gilpatrick, 1999).There are so many solution to a given problem, it only requires the plan to overcoming it. The Fairmount healthcare Centre requires modern technology to facilitate communication inside the hospital and outside the community. By solving this menace increases the productivity of the Fairmount healthcare Centre and improves the lifestyles of the community members
 
Developing a plan to address the issue.
The problem faced by Fairmount medical Centre is common in any other hospital and needs to be solved using the normal strategies, poor communication has been associated with inadequate of modern technology (Georgopoulos, 1986). The strategy has five steps and it includes: Specialize for growth- the hospital should only focus on the origin of the obstacle, this encourages them to meet the desired goals and not postponing the problem, they should purchase modern technology to facilitate communication (Danet, 1973).
