Saudia airline's mission statement is one of a kind; it encompassed its urge and zeal to provide the best customer-based services. It states; to be a world-class airline with distinctive Saudi traits, a guest-driven and caring employer. The airline's mission further emphasizes its commitment to providing top-quality services and guaranteed customer satisfaction; it values its customer's feedback concerning the services offered (Seo, 2020). The mission statement also denotes the importance of the guests and their feedback, and this is a tool that the airline uses to evaluate its service delivery status.
Corporate Structure
Like any other company, Saudia airline has a top-down management structure; the decision-making powers rest in a few senior managers running various departments of the airline. A highly experienced team manages the airline with knowledge and skills spanning over many years of management in the airline sector. The company is organized into three primary industries and supportive functions headed by the chief executive officer. There are various departments, each led by a chief officer; these departments include; finance, corporate services, accounts, flight catering, retail, catering and facilities, procurement and strategic sourcing, and health, security, and legal control department.
Saudia Airline CEO is Captain Ibrahim Koshy, who was recently honored with an award of Aviation Executive of the year in recognition of his remarkable contribution to the growth and development of the aviation industry. Prominent leaders gathered to celebrate his achievements.
Partnership
Saudia has a partnership with Tawuniya which is a medical insurance company, the contract entered between the two companies is mainly to offers medical insurance to Saudia's aircraft fleet and its airlines. The insurance is meant to cover the aircraft and airline against aviation accidents and public liabilities due to injuries, property damages, and deaths. The Saudia employees also get to enjoy a handsome medical insurance cover courtesy of Tawuniya, this includes extensive health care services to the employee and their family members.
