Next, the company creates a plan to execute the strategy and monitors and evaluates the plan’s progress. Finally, the company adjusts the system as needed based on the results of the execution and evaluation process. The company's entrepreneurship strategy is also designed to improve patients’ quality of life. The procedure begins with identifying a problem or unmet need and then determining the best way to address that problem. Next, the company establishes a business model to address the problem successfully. Finally, the company launches the business and monitors and evaluates the results. AstraZeneca's strategic change management and entrepreneurship strategy are successful because they allow the company to identify and address unmet needs in the healthcare industry.

John Kotter Change Model
AstraZeneca has been changing its management model for over a decade to maintain its competitive edge. AstraZeneca adopted the "John Kotter Change Model." It is a process for generating a sense of urgency and getting people to act on new opportunities. The model has three phases: diagnosing the problem, proposing a solution, and implementing the resolution, and the first phase is to diagnose the problem and determine the level of urgency (Ramasamy et al., 2017). The second phase is to propose a solution and identify who will implement the solution. The third phase is to implement the solution and ensure it is successful. The John Kotter Change Model has based on the premise that change is not easy, but it can be done. The model generates a sense of urgency and gets people to act on new opportunities. By implementing the model, AstraZeneca has improved its performance and stay competitive.
