Intelligence is the individual ability or capacity to acquire, understand and comprehend knowledge. Also, it is the ability to remember and learn from past experiences, and use them as a reference to solve a problem and fit to or cope with new situations. According to Howard Gardner, there are seven different bits of intelligence. Gardner's theory states that learners or students have distinct capabilities of fathoming the world and its components. For instance, some learners have a better understanding of the world through logical or mathematical analysis. Other learners possess high levels of knowledge in understanding themselves, comprehending music or thinking musically, and a better understanding of oneself. Gardner's theory challenges the current educational system that subjects every learner to similar learning materials, infrastructure as well as environment (Lane, 2017). The method claims that the educational system emphasizes on lingual modes of administering instructions and assessment of the learners. According to Gardner, learning should be assessed in seven distinctive means. The means are visual-spatial, bodily-kinesthetic, musical, interpersonal, intrapersonal, linguistic and logical-mathematical.
