It is based on the principles of foresight, persuasion, stewardship, awareness, empathy, healing, listening, and conceptualization. Most people assume that it is only associated with Christianity, but the ideologies of servant leadership are also apparent in the Falun gong religion and Chinese culture. How Servant leadership principles are evident in Falun Gong and Chinese Culture
In servant leadership, individuals are expected to come together for a common purpose because it promotes community building. The community building principle is evident in Chinese culture because it promotes harmony, which aims at building societies. According to the values of peace in Chinese culture, people are expected to ensure balanced and proper coordination between things. It advocates for unity, not uniformity, which leads to people coming together irrespective of their differences (Bangcheng, Wei, & Yen-Chuan, 2015). It is evident that, just like in the servant leadership principle of community building, the Chinese culture also promotes coming together through the harmony value. The policy of community building is also evident in the Falun gong religion because it promotes participation through social practices.
