Abstract
The proposal seeks to explain the question of whether the business goals and sustainable greening initiatives are reconcilable concepts in the current hotel industry. In particular, the proposal will explain the hospitality and hotel industry, explain its economic influence in Singapore. It will also capture some of the green initiatives that hospitality and hotel industries have adopted to improve sustainability. Introduction
This chapter introduces and discusses the research which is the analysis of challenges for Singapore hospitality industry, hotel & resort guests support for green initiatives. Starting with the background of the study followed by a literature review that outlines previous research done to the existing research gap which then leads to the formulated research question as well as the purpose of the study. The proposal will also explain the methodology, conclusion, and recommendation.
