Training Importance to Organization and Employees
Definition of Training
The process in which the skills are provided to the employees for doing their job effectively, skillfully as well as qualitatively in an organization is termed as Training. Such an exercise cannot be continuous, but its periodical and is given at a specified time. Usually, the expert or a professional in the related field is hired to carry out the exercise. There is the need for Training at every stage of any work and even for every individual at work.
It can also be defined as the learning process of a sequence of the programmed behavior. This means it is the application of the knowledge and it can give the individuals an awareness of the rules and obligations to quid behavior (Dhar, 2015). Some scholars like Michael Jucius defined training as the process in which the skills and the abilities of the employees to carry out specific jobs are increased. That is, he meant that both knowledge and the skills to accomplish a particular job in a specific way is known as Training.
Importance of Training
Improved Employee Performance
An employee who gets the necessary training is quite different from the one who didn’t acquire. The trained one is more able to perform their job effectively. Training increases the understanding of the employee’s responsibilities within their role, and also, in turn, can build confidence. Such confidence improves the overall performance and can hence benefit the organization.
Improved Employee Satisfaction and the Morale
Training leads to the creation of the supportive workplace, and therefore employees can gain access to training that they could not have otherwise known about it. The employees can feel more satisfied towards their job once they feel appreciated and challenged through training

Through strong and a successful training, it helps to create the employer brand and can even make the company a prime consideration for the mid-career changes. The organization can become more attractive to the recruits who seeks to enhance their skills as well as opportunities.

When the staff in an organization are trained, they can feel they are more valued, and therefore there are fewer changes of the employers. Training is beneficial to the organization in that it reduces the recruitment cost and hence staff retention.
