More so, over the last two decades or so the United States has been praised for enacting what seemingly sound policies such as the Affordable Care Act are. This act is meant to help bridge the gap concerning access to health care services. Also, it includes efforts to lower care costs as well as expanded coverage all of which would suggest the nation is on the right track. The figures, however, indicate a different scenario altogether.
