The organization can simplify its structure by scrapping off some of the positions. The current structure is made up of three divisions namely East, West and Central. The current structure has created too many layers and leadership levels. A divisional organizational structure will make it possible for leadership to be delegated to each region in which McDonalds operates. Under the divisional organizational chart, the structure of the organization is marked based on the specific factors that influence demand and supply in the different regions (Gillikin, 2015). These factors include customer preferences, competition as well as cultural and religious practices.
