(2016) observes that 30% of African Americans believe that destiny or fate is what controls their health while 50% think that health is a key priority. The researcher adds that in the United States, African Americans make up the least healthy ethnic group. The main focus of this paper is to examine the health status of this group by assessing various health-related elements.
