Declaration of Independence
The picture above is the first moment that was being presented to second contingent Congress on June 28, 1776. The first official draft or written paper was being presented at that time. This declaration served as the basis for real accepting of draft and signed by authorities two months later.
Therefore, this picture depicts the personals that were present during the presentation of the Draft including all of 47 individual where five Patriots were present while 42 signers were there. The basic idea in mind of Artist at the time of making this picture is that the new generations were able to remember the individuals who had played a vital role in the independence. Among persons in history who were those who had shown commitment and resilience towards their goal and ended up as pioneers of Freedom. They sacrificed their lifestyle and everything for the generation to follow, so it is necessary that the new generation remember their heroes of freedom.
The best way to preserve the history is in the form of image because the human being remembers things in the form of pictures. Many of the pictures were used according to memory of the painter the person description and their personality and the items utilized in the room were according to the belief of the writer. The event was occurred in Pennsylvania in states at that time, and now it is given the name of independence hall as the movement of freedom gets started officially from it.
Freedom is the right of human being and history has proved that only the free persons have done great things or things that were not ordinary or believed not to be achieved somehow. There is a real desire for freedom in every wise person that does not accept slavery and that what was in mind of the artist while making picture. He Tries to do his part in the freedom fight and emphasizes the importance of liberty and struggle related to achieving it.
Landing of Columbus by John Vanderlyn
This painting shows Christopher Columbus and a member of his crew that during the long voyage of continuous struggle able to reach the beach of West Indies. It was during this long journey when the discovery of the first route from Europe to undiscovered lands like China, Japan, and another area was found. It was expected as one of the great achievements since it was an undiscovered land that could serve for many essential purposes. It could at save time and resources by moving to the west to other lands and thus an important discovery, which cannot be neglected by history.
The picture is designed in an imperative way that has the effect on the mind of the viewer and message could be understood clearly without confusion. Columbus has a flag in his hand that is upward to show that this land belongs to him and crew. The sword was pointing towards the ground depicting that he is finally achieved it after a long struggle and every tough time was in fact become a guideline to make it. The sword on the ground also tells that it was hard to reach there. However, due to determination and courage the undiscovered land gained. Often after achieving a thing a person think for this I have done such hard work that’s what the artist try to tell through his image in a particular shape. His head was bare, and his hat was on the feet, which suggested the expression of humility, in this case. It is an appropriate thing to do in such cases when something achieved without expecting something like it to achieve.
The artist tries to communicate the happiness that is made after achieving a particular goal after continuous struggle. A person makes goal only if he faces all problems in a way of target as a source of inspiration rather than de-motivation of them. He became contented after achieving it. The harder you work and try the higher you fly.
Surrender of Lord Cornwallis by John Trumbull
This picture is made to remember the end of the campaign of the Revolutionary war that happens after the surrender of British force in Yorktown Virginia in 1781. It was a vital day in history of U.S. They were able to get themselves dominated by the mighty British power by proper use of resources and plan implementation that urges them to surrender themselves to constant pressure. The picture depicted the blue colored sky that looks black because of the amount of explosives used during the war and because of the real condition of British force at the time of surrendering. It is never liked to surrender because it lowers the motivation level of other troops. British force under the leadership of Cornwallis hopes to be run from the ground by the sea. Due to the continuous pressure from French troops, the sea and American forces from the other side does not help British troops. The stage was reached when they had no option rather than surrendering because they cannot move forward or backward while there is a continuous loss of force with every second passing. During the surrender, American General Lincoln waves the sword towards British officers while the French General was also present at left along with artist brother. General Washington remains at background because Wallace was not there to surrender in front on the battleground.
The artist meets different people in order to use them in the picture according to their personality and way of approach. The message of art is clear to learn from history that by maintain the forward or authority position the other one is bowed down to the ground. The artist has successfully communicated the message.

Therefore, the conversion of Pocahontas to Christianity in order to marry then become a role model for others girls so that they might use this example to follow (AOC.gov n.d.).
There were members of colonist and Tidewater tribes both presented during this ceremony and showed different kind of expression of feeling of on this occasion; some were feeling gratitude while others were dismayed at that time. However, by getting in relation to the passage of time lessens the difference between them that in past time was a big hurdle to cross.
Artist made the picture in times where his life was not going well. He was facing many difficulties in his life a...
