DeCanio, senior macroeconomics education specialist at the University of California attests to the fact that computers are the worst nightmare in the job market. According to his research and analysis, the increased application of computer technology in the job market is an issue of great concern in the economy since it is substituting human labor with artificial intelligence at an alarming rate thereby resulting in economic inequality. In this sense, computerized robots may end up doing most of the tasks in fast food stores in a move to help the management to save on expenses and increase their profit margins.
