The data obtained analyses the crimes committed, mainly robbery in the Schaumburg town of Chicago for three years, 2017, 2018, and 2019. To get the required data, various geographical data analysis techniques were used, such as cartography, visualization, Geographic Information systems, and spatial statistics to analyze the LexisNexis Community Crime Map, which was prepared mainly to study the criminal cases in the United States. In most cases, crime is unpredictable, an act that can happen anywhere at any time. Schaumburg town was chosen as the study area because it is within Chicago, a city known to have numerous cases of crime. Chicago has a large population, with all sorts of people, including those who always think of committing a crime. According to various studies, the terrain is a significant factor that prompts people to carry out criminal activities. It favors them to find the way out after doing the act (Jefferson, 2017).
