Leadership plays a crucial part in the running of organizations. The possibility of attaining organizational success depends on the nature of leadership adopted and practiced in an organization. Like in other fields, leadership is a substantial if not the primary determinant of success in the nursing. Innovations of various kinds have been necessary for the performances of many organizations and sectors. In that line, the central area of inquiry concerns the manifestation and impact of leading innovation in the nursing sector.
In examining the question of the impact and manifestation of innovation in nursing leadership, I will consider the Proquest database. At this point, I will be accessing data only, which is not useful. The database in its universal nature does not offer an opportunity for understanding or discovering one’s targets. I will proceed to select the box under the article type and chose scholarly journals. The next step will be to type the central area of interest, which is “innovation in nursing leadership” in the search box and activate the button. This action will still display data because it will list various journals that have keywords about the searched phrase. I will read through the titles of the listed articles and the publication dates. I will only open the pieces that highlight any or all of the search words. It is also important to reiterate that my choice will consider articles published between 2013 and 2018. I will ignore older articles that fail the timeframe threshold.
