If one chooses a servant leadership style, there are few principles that he or she must follow in order to get direction and clarity. They include: Stewardship which requires the servant leader to commit to serving others first. The second principle is active listening where the leader must listen to his or her followers in order to gain new perspectives and help in connecting various concepts for a more comprehensive and inclusive strategy.
