This information and the other tools are similar to the inappropriate medications health care facilities’ professionals accidentally provide to patients for intake (Kohn, et. al. 2000). Both of the two errors made in the said sectors may have likely led to the curtail of human lives (i.e., death). Inaccurate input of diagnoses in hospitals in computers and other similar devices can happen. This situation can be attributed as striking a similarity to making errors in providing the correct diagnoses to patients (Kohn, et. al. 2000). Health care professionals both in the technology and facility sectors are, of course, all human beings. And, the motto that “to err is human” is applicable in most, if, not all aspects of people’s lives and the situations they experience on a daily basis. However, regardless of the known fact that human beings are bound to unintentionally make mistakes, mistakes that health care professionals make that inflict serious and harmful consequences, such as death, are still punishable under the law. Lack of trust in health care can put patients’ health in serious risky conditions (Paulin, et. al. 2018). Or, worse, it may cause deaths among patients. Simultaneously, lack of trust from patients may cost health care professionals to potentially lose their jobs, when the number of patients that seek the said specialists’ services decrease.
