Designing an advertisement is a critical process that determines whether the idea been sold out to potential users or customers. It is, therefore, an important step that designers should take maximum caution so as not to overdo or make the advertisement undesirable. Good advertisements make the sales scale up and make products appealing to the customers.
1 Design
To come up with the design, one must come up with an analysis of the company and the products, their strengths and weaknesses so as to focus more on the good things that can attract people to the advertisement. Then, one needs to identify their target audience and focus on the qualities that are important to them. It is important to research widely so as to widen your scope and get new ideas that can be put together. Roughly have a sketch of what is going to be featured in the advertisement. Some of the basic composition techniques that were followed were the rule of the thirds, where the main focus of the photograph is at the center or at the intersection of the page if lines were to be drawn. Another composition rule was to simplify the scene so that it would not be too hard to understand the advertisement, putting in mind that it should capture the eye in seconds.
