A corporate team consists of a group of personnel with a similar culture that ensures a mutual benefit. Once the team collaborates their skills, they commit themselves to attain the performance goals (Thayer et al., 2018). By analyzing the characteristics of the team, identification of strategies are necessitated to enable the groups to attain high performance. High performing teams share common leadership, mutual concerns, develop interchangeable skills and are extraordinary. Executives who have strongly believe in characteristics based on behaviors, such as, cost-effectiveness, innovation, customer service and quality will highly prioritize team performance development (Thayer et al., 2018).
Surprisingly, most individuals, particularly the corporation executives, know the components that build a strong team yet, due to various reasons they fail to develop or practice strategies to execute their abilities in an orderly way. Therefore, they miss an opportunity to build their team's potential entirely. Formulation and development of this work change are time-consuming and needs commitment (Wheed et al., 2018).
