Explain the structure of the neuron. How do neurons communicate with each other?
There is an external and internal structure in a neuron system. The external structure contains dendrites with dendritic spines that are responsible for receiving neuron signals, cell body that processes the signal in the nucleus and axon that deal with the output, terminal button specifically that contain neurotransmitter that acts like the chemical messenger. In the internal structure, there is the gene, messenger ribonucleic acid (mRNA) which is a complex molecule, ribosomes which receive the message from (mRNA), Golgi apparatus, and microtubules. All this form the structure of the neuron
How do neurons communicate with each other?
Neurons communicate using both chemical and electrical signals. Communication occurs when conversion of sensory stimuli to electrical signals takes place and then carried away along the neuron.
How does endocrine communicate?
Endocrine contains a system that is similar to the nervous system, however; the mechanism and effect are classified differently. Endocrine communicates through various gland that signal one another in an axis sequence. HPA axis is one of the glands that directly influence and give a feedback interaction and more so is involved in all body stress. Communication takes place when hypothalamus sends information to the anterior pituitary to the adrenal cortex.
