Introduction
The phrase Global warming is used to refer to the overall world’s climatic change that causes an overall increase in the earth’s temperature. Global warming is not a sudden occurrence rather a gradual continuous increase in the average world’s temperature (Zhong, 2016). A progressive rise in the worlds atmospheric temperature causes a corresponding change to the usual global ecosystem. The world has gone through various episodes of global warming through its history, and currently it’s probably undergoing the worst global warming it has ever experienced in its entire lifetime (Hoegh-Guldberg et al., 2018). This is a gradual progressive phenomenon caused by both natural causes and human activities.
Natural Causes of Global warming.
Natural causes are also referred to as acts of God, they are those activities which are not as a result of human activities nether can they be controlled by human beings. A perfect example of natural causes of global warming is the volcano eruption. A single volcano eruption can result in an unmeasurable amount of carbon gases. Carbon and Sulphur gases are known to be a major cause of global warming (Hoegh-Guldberg et al., 2018). It's scientifically proven that these gases destroy the Ozone layer and forms a thick blanket in the earth's atmosphere which ends up trapping the heat between the blanket and the earth surface (Wuebbles, Fahey, & Hibbard 2017).
