A man plays a very important role in the family. Moreover, their involvement in a family set-up helps them too in a way that they tend to develop an understanding of responsibilities that should be executed by them. In a family, a man acts both as a father and a husband. His responsibilities stretch out to the general community too. As a husband, for a wonderful relationship to be seen with his wife, care, respect and trust should be seen flowing from both sides. As a father, in support of what the family is aiming it, a man has to be respected, loved and accepted as the head of the family. Immanuel Bible Church argues that “The essence of submission is an attitude of respect toward legitimate authority in our lives,” which confirms that a man is a legitimate authority in human life and that crown granted by God should be embraced.[. Emmanuel Bible Church. "Roles of Men and Women in The Church." www.immanuelbible.net. Last modified September 27, 2013. https://immanuelbible.church/images/ibc/discover/roles_of_men_women.pdf.]
There exists a dividing force in the current family, society and church set up that are destroying the authority of man as the legitimate authority. The dividing forced has caused division and confusion amongst the men and women leading to role conflicts. There has been a rise in movements caused by women empowerment who are arguing that men's roles can also be performed by women, in which this degrades man's authority significance in all societal set-up.
The goal of the enemy is to divide and conquer the woman/wife and man/father to destroy the family which affects the ultimate marriage and covenant goals. The family as God designed and intended it to be is under attack and as Satan demoniac scheme was put in place as early as the 1800’s to divide and conquer with women fighting for the rights due to the thought from women that they are just a property without rights that should just be acquired and explored.
