Feminist rhetorics entail production or analysis of feminist discourses. Feminist rhetoric scholars strive always strive expose women and their tales in the rhetorical history. Such scholars blend feminist issues with theory of rhetoric.
Disrupting patriarchy
In this discourse, the feminist and womanist scholars try to demystify patriarchal forces that work against women within marginalized sexualities (Davis, 2018). The feminists try to create an ideal society for the female gender employing patriarchal linguistic tools. The feminist and womanist rhetorics emphasize on the need to dismantle a patriarchy of gay marriage. Heterosexuality is perceived as ideal by feminists. The proponents of feminist theories amplify the oppression and injustices committed against the female gender to capture the attention of the society. Such scholars promote awareness campaigns geared towards promoting the welfare of women in different aspects.
