Many literature articles have different themes and have elements of portraying a situation. Among the elements literature articles deal with is sexuality. By definition, sexuality is the possession of the structural and functional character traits of sex. Sometimes, literature uses sexuality to denote gender diversity in the community. It may also be used to express the capacity of sexual feelings and many more others. In Wuthering Heights, sexuality is used in various ways. This paper will look at how wuthering heights portray sexuality.
The first instance of sexuality in the book Wuthering Heights is having sexual feeling among different genders. This occurs between Catherine and Heathcliff. As the two teenagers grew up, Heathcliff possesses feelings for his friend, and most probably half-sister, Catherine. This relationship almost leads to incest.
