Shizu Saldamando
Shizu Saldamando is a Mexican-Japanese visual artist from San Francisco, CA. Her artwork is primarily based on subcultural portraits. Most of her works are taken from random events on people including herself, and a number of it are painted and drafted in graphite on wood. Saldamando has a Bachelor’s Degree in Arts and Architecture at the University of California in 2000, and she has a Master’s Degree in Fine Arts at the California Institute of Arts in 2005. Many of Saldamando’s work are included in different art exhibitions and galleries, and most of these are located in California.
