Some programs comprised of training programs characterized with high intensity dominating the fitness advertisements is something that has stood out and likely to inform the way to improve or change the professional practices (Derval & Ganneau, 2018). Therefore, the art of developing relevant, individualized training could be misguided and more confusing than ever before. These distractions could divert the attention of the vital segment of the population from problem-solving. It is clear that not everyone within the population is interested or prepared for training programs that involve high intensity since most people are either obese or overweight whereas the largest group being the baby boomers are currently more than fifty years of age.
The benefit of the fitness levels of the population could not be overstated because several factors need to be considered to address the puzzle associated with the design of the fitness program regardless of goals, weight, and age. Fitness professionals often study training and exercise variables that are fundamental to consider (Porcari, Brant & Comana, 2015). For instance, it is essential that a fitness professional consider the client and the priorities, exercise history or the existing fitness level, several days willing to commit for work-out, obstacles and resources possessed among others. The fitness professional risks being exposed as a cookie-cutter instructor in case of anything short of the considerations.
