Although various laws have been set up to promote a cleaner environment, ecological contamination continues to be experienced in most parts of the country. Nonetheless, the establishment of legislation such as the Clean Air Act has helped the government control air pollution in contemporary American society. Notably, such law is administered by the federal environmental statue in collaboration with the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). While different companies continue to breach such legislation, environmental laws play a significant role in promoting a cleaner environment.
