The exploration of genome research to improve human health has been a hotly debated issue. Genetics plays a critical role in providing various solutions in the field of medicine. Although genome research has its advantages, the process often results in intense ethical and social implications to survey participants.
Societal discrimination and stigmatization are one of the major concerns associated with genome research. For example, nurses and genetic specialists have been keen to report instances of biases in the analysis and presentation of pedigree data (Hindorff et al., 2018). In most cases, investigators tend to convey information that is contradictory to the participant’s genetic condition. This tendency often taints the subject’s image implying the need for drafting effective ways of analyzing and publishing the data.
