Examining blood donation as a sustainable activity

Sustainability Through Blood Donation
Sustainability Through Blood Donation
Description/definition of sustainability
Sustainability is a term that is widely used in the field of business to refer to economic or development activities that consider the need to protect the environment. This biased developmental definition of sustainability locks out the application of the term in the social and environmental contexts. An ideal definition of sustainability that would capture the economic, environmental, and social aspects is that it is the ability to maintain a given behavior indefinitely (Elaine, 2015). This would mean that environmental sustainability, social sustainability, and economic sustainability are intricately tied to one definition of maintaining steady commitment to a given behavior despite the challenges that occur during the implementation of this behavior.
