Bushfire has spread across many states in Australia in the last four months since September of 2019. Extreme hot and dry conditions in Australia are the main causes of fire. Many regions in Australia have experienced drought conditions with high temperatures. These areas also continue to receive heavy dry winds, which facilitate the faster spread of bushfire (BBC News, 2010). The residents of the New South Wales State are among the people most affected by the raging bush fires. Reports indicate that more than 5 million hectares of land in this state were burned in the fire. The bushfire ravaging through the New South Wales State has destroyed over 1, 300 houses, which has forced thousands of residents to relocate (BBC News, 2010). Despite the impact of the fire on people and property, the fire also has a significant impact on the operation of businesses in Australia.
The bushfires in Australia have a significant impact on international businesses. Companies from other countries operating in Australia are affected by bushfires in Australia because most business outlets are closed. These companies have invested their resources in the Australian market. Therefore, a shutdown of business operations in Australia will affect the revenue
