Do you think that we need more management schools than primary schools?
The debate behind whether we should build more management schools than primary schools remains ambiguous to determine since both schools are considered critical to the development of oneself on the path of building a successful career as well as developing a good organization. However, concerning the above question, I will argue on the importance of having more management schools than primary schools; Hence, this paper will focus on outlining the reasons for having more management schools than primary schools.
First, Primary education is only limited to the knowledge that is basic and as such, there is no guarantee for employment (Kessler, 2013). In other words, primary education focuses only on providing the common knowledge that will only help a person in dealing with common issues and problems. On the other hand, management studies cover a wider section of education that is also applied in the management and running of big organizations. A person who possesses management skills and management practical stand a chance to secure employment in one of the big organization and earn an income.
Second, management study is considered a vocational course that polishes the student’s communication skills as well as preparing them for the future (Kessler, 2013). The management discipline entails several other subjects such as communication skills, ethics among others that builds the future of the student, which later enables him or her to overcome the challenges that arise in the world of business. This is not the case with primary education, which concentrates on providing basic information on the learners.
