Chalk's Ocean Airways Flight 101
Metal fatigue failure in the wing of a plane occurs when there is a repeated flight cycle and frequent use that makes the element metals in a plane weaker over time. The metals require attention and repair, and when they are not given attention or maintenance, they are likely to cause a plane failure.
Metal fatigue failure can be prevented before they result in severe damage or loss of lives. Occasionally inspection is one of the best approaches to avoiding metal fatigue failure. The plane should always be inspected after every flight to help catch up with visual or detectable problems early enough to make a huge difference. Regular inspections will make it easy to detect and solve the issues before they fail.
