All The President’s Men is a non-fiction movie about the experiences of journalists who work for the Washington Post. The movie starts with five burglars breaking into the Watergate Apartment Complex but they are noticed by a security guard who consequently alerts the cops and they are arrested. Much heist in the movie occurs towards the end. Notably, the movie borders around investigative journalism by two journalists working for the Washington Post, that is, Bernstein and Woodward. Once the movie begins, you can easily deduce that it is about leftist journalists who are opposed to various actions taken by the president of the US at the time. However, the title suggests that the journalists are the president’s puppets who purport to critique him but instead work as a unit behind the scenes. However, as the movie progresses, it is easier to identify that that was not the case. Despite the intimidations from the president, the two journalists finally publish the story about Watergate in detriment his reputation. The names of the two journalists are associated with President Nixon’s downfall.
