The first known relationship theory was formulated in 1973 by psychologists Dalmas Tylor and Irwin Altman and used to explain the affection and connection between two people. In the creation of a dating website, understanding the theories of relationship can be a critical factor in determining whether a relationship will succeed or fail.
First, an online dating sites should advise its members to be friends or acquaintances rather than lovers. One of the reasons why online dating fail is because many of the couple enter into online dating with high expectations like long term commitment, serious relationships or even marriage without any expectation of a failed relationship.
