To overcome the limitation, then it one can understand the group dynamics, have knowledge of the members and their distinctive characteristics or traits based on Gopfert et al (2001).Located in Doncaster, Sure Start Centres aims at offering ending poverty in the community using government funds. .The centres have goals and objectives, the aim of these centres is to strive and offer better opportunities for the community to overcome poverty. According to DH (1999), the aim of the government is to support the Children and families for a healthier start to life. In the past, most of the children’s centres started as Sure Start Local programs. According to Sure Start (2008), the strategic change of its visions to provide effective and high quality services developed within mainstream community services.
Therefore, the purpose of Sure Start is to provide integral education, domestic support, provide Medicare services, and develop a pathway for children towards brighter families and futures. With the children’s centre being at the focal point within the government, it has a motto that says, "Every Child Matters”, which is the change for children and their needs in the community. They cater for children from young as 0-5 years. To support these children, the centre has practitioners who help in the day to day activities. The centre has a developed website essential in promoting and supporting the centre in creating awareness within the larger United Kingdom community. Groups such as Doncaster Metropolitan Borough Council (DMBC) and the Doncaster Primary Care Trust (DPCT) are essential in promoting children’s awareness with their families (DH, 2000). The teams and centres engages families and their children in providing activities and engaging in family building events. Sure Start has other partners such as the GPs, which helps in Child and Family Nursing programs. These are essential in promoting the wellbeing of the children and families with a low mental health. Therefore, the organization values the effort of its stakeholders and children as the main clients of the centres. Through the centres’ groupings, children can fit into different groups for socialization and recreation services. Such groups include craft, play, drop in, cooking and social services groups.
