After professional training it’s a joy of every nurse to land a paying job. However, after working for several months they begin to encounter a lot of challenges. The training period of the nursing course offers them limited on-the-job experience to handle patients as well as improve their cognitive thinking. The development of new residency program promote the opportunity for new nurses to tap into the knowledge and wisdom offered by retiring nurses (Jones et al., 2017). It’s also evident that nurses’ trainees interact with experienced medical practitioners during the last clinical attachment in medical schools. Nursing being a more practical field this is not enough to expose students and prepare them for future duties.
