Employees value building new skills, improving their work performance, and potentially evolving to more challenging roles (Opute, 2020). Interestingly, continuing education is valued as a key factor in staying relevant in the labor market by staff of all ages. More importantly, it shows a company's commitment to its employees' growth to support and offer continuous training opportunities. Employees value a company in which training for employees is supported. Training is an excellent opportunity to expand all employees' knowledge base, but many entrepreneurs have expensive development opportunities under the current climate (Opute, 2020). Training employees also miss working hours that may delay project submission. Despite these downsides, however, development and training offer advantages for both employees and organizations, making time and money a valuable investment. The payoff from training and development of employees is indeed a no-brainer.
