Food is an important part of any human being’s diet. It carries with it tremendous benefits that are essential for sustaining life. This paper seeks to discuss some of the benefits and drawbacks derived from indulging in a healthy diet.
Benefits.
Cardiovascular diseases contribute immensely to mortality rates across the globe and consuming a healthy diet can help keep your cardiovascular health in check. This is according to Shekhar et al.1. Foods that contain vitamins, such as fruits, which are a part of a healthy diet, contain bioactive compounds, antioxidants, and phytochemicals that help combat some of the complications that contribute to cardiovascular diseases like stroke, heart failure, and atherosclerosis.
(Kaskous 158-163) claims that milk, a protein, consists of around nine essential amino acids, which is half of the total number of amino acids the body requires and is therefore considered a high source of significant protein. Camel milk contains high levels of fatty acids, vitamins, and immunoglobulins. These chemical compounds can help alleviate a couple of human diseases. For example, type 1 diabetes, intestinal disorders such as Irritable Bowel Syndrome, and food allergies. In addition to this, camel milk reduces the growth of cancer cells and is used as a cure for autism.
