All the authors in this study are professors in different universities. In the modern times, acupuncture is broadly employed in the management of pain, and parturition is a condition necessitating suitable pain alleviation approaches. The results of the article demonstrate that acupuncture is considerably related to a reduced period of labor although it was not better when judged against placebo for the management of labor pain. This article will be helpful to my research as it will demonstrate the wide application of acupuncture in pain management.

One supposition concerning benefits of acupuncture over drugs is that the influence is more specific to pain management devoid of many unintended consequences caused by the presently available Pharmaceuticals. This study will be used in the research to explain the benefits of acupuncture in pain management.
