Bioreactions are defined as the body's natural reaction to certain stimuli. This is a natural reaction that occurs during the first few milliseconds of the body's reaction bioreactions range from freezing, taking flight or choosing to fight the threat that presents itself. For example, a typical bioreaction to a situation when one is left at home and hears footsteps in the middle of the night would be to freeze. The person experiencing these sudden feelings of fright and anxiety would most likely freeze after hearing these kinds of noises.
When faced with another situation such as the attack of a leering and snarling bulldog, the boy's reaction would be to take fright. Similarly, when faced with an imminent attack from a knife-wielding person, a person might choose to stay and fight off the attack. This is especially the case when one has to protect children or loved ones around him. Taking flight, freezing and fighting are clear examples of bioreactions.
