Data Based Changes
A vast amount of information that can do wonders is known as 'big data.' There is a great potential hidden in big data and becoming a particular interest for the past years. Various private and public sectors industry analyze, generate, and store big data to improve their service. However, in the health industry, vast data sources include medical records of the patients, hospital records, devices that are part of the internet, and medical examinations. Another significant portion of big data is produced by biomedical research relevant to public healthcare. Like any other form of data, big data requires analysis and proper management to derive meaningful information. This paper focuses on identifying big data, the concept of continuity planning and the benefits and disadvantages of using technology in healthcare, and other recommendations.
Big data and data mining
Massive information and data mining are different things; however, the two involve using substantial information indexes to deal with detailing or accumulating information that serves different beneficiaries or serves as an organization (Senthilkumar et al., 2018). Therefore, the two terms (big data and data mining) are used for the operation's distinct components. Big data is a term for enormous information index. Enormous information collections are those that go beyond the straightforward sort of database. Also, they are the information taking care of models utilized as a part of prior circumstances. When the big data was less doable and more costly, a spreadsheet can be classified as enormous informational indexes.
Data mining alludes to the act of experiencing a significant data index to search for related applicable data. Organizations collect enormous information arrangements that might be consequently or homogenous gathered. Chiefs get access to the little bits of the information from the expansive sets. They use data mining to reveal the snippets of data that will help outline the business's course and educate authority. Information mining includes the utilization of various types of the programming bundles such as investigation devices. The information can be mechanized, where singular specialists send particular inquires for a database or document. In most cases, the information mining point to operations includes complex pursuit operations focused on and particular outcomes. For example, a device that looks into information mining may provide information through many years of bookkeeping data and locate a particular section that records received or costs for a particular working year.
Continuity Planning
Continuity planning is the process that involves creating a system of recovery and prevention from potential threats to an organization. The plan ensures that assets and personnel are protected and can function abruptly in a disaster. Therefore, the main goal of continuity planning in business is to:
1 Ease Confusion by Providing Written Procedures
2 Improve responsiveness in different situations by the employees.
3 Helping to ensure logical decisions and participation in drills are made during a crisis.
To achieve the above goals, they have to develop procedures and complete policies in every complex operation in any department they have. The procedures and policies are manual, meaning that they can e revised anytime one wants, or the organization encounters a problem that is per incident reported. The final revision is approved after a thorough investigation by quality assurance has been made.
As a manager Operating a larger corporation or facility, the strive is always competitive. It is crucial to retain the clients while increasing the client's base; therefore, if I were a director of a manager in a dialysis facility, I would recommend restoring information technology because numerous disaster solutions are available. It suffices to remark that professionals in the facility can rely on Information technology (IT) in implementing and providing such solutions. However, the facility's future will depend on the processes and people. Handling incidents effectively has an appositive effect on the organizations or company's marketing value and reputation, increasing the client's confidence.
Moreover, a facility manager should develop preparedness programs such as utility plans, treatment plans, antiviral and vaccine use plans, and communication plans. The manager should recommend meeting with local utility companies to contact information and review their plan based on the utility plan. However, with the local utility company representatives, the management should review the critical needs to operate the dialysis facility. Therefore, discuss the maintenance of utilities or prioritization of the utilities.
The treatment plan, in this case, is prepared in case of a disaster. The organization should determine how to deal with additional patients or new patients. Determine the service level to offer or provide in adverse, and review the treatment changes with the medical director and physician groups. Determine which anti-vaccine and antiviral to use, find the vendor source, and second priority status.
Communication plan, the manager should determine the education plan to evaluate the messenger and preparedness education. Outline the education plan for the caregivers, patients, and staff. However, as a manager, I should recommend coordination with other local clinicians, other facilities, and other agencies.
Benefits, Disadvantages, and Recommendations to Using of Technology in Healthcare Education of Nursing Students or the Public
Benefits
The dick university is the first facility to offer internet-based nursing courses. The advantages were measurable, and clearly defined learning outcomes and real-world problems were introduced as the primary instructional strategies component (Coopasami et al., 2017). However, the advantages of using IT in all aspects of nursing include management, clinical areas, education, and research, and its influence on health care. Today the decision support system, clinical nursing systems, and medical diagnostic systems are associated with collecting patient information. Through technology, hospital information, and healthcare systems developers, service quality and care are improving. Technology increases patient safety and leads to evidence-based nursing.
Disadvantages
 Disadvantages of using technology that is common include:
* The software and hardware problems.
* Troubleshooting difficulties.
* Poor prerequisites.
* Poor time management in mastering the material.
* Allowing internet access speed.
It is worth noting that the use of technology is expensive. It is worth noting that sophisticated health technology does is not cheap. One of the challenges faced by healthcare is that the population is aging. This means that health care needs to increase, and fewer people generate income to pay for the services.
King et al., 2018 argue that technology requires time to adapt. Technology is continually changing or evolving, and every time there will be new software, a new way of doing, and new upgrades. To keep up with the completion, the hospital professionals have to keep up with such changes. This is a struggle, especially for the older staff.
The last disadvantage of the use of technology is the over-dependency on technology.
When the hospital staff adapts to the new way, there is a problem of over-dependent computers because it is hard for the computer system to face technical errors. Informatics in healthcare has no exception. This problem is crucial in the accident and the emergency department. An information system can interconnect various departments in the hospital. However, when one of the departments is affected, it affects the others. For example, in the accident and emergency department, when the pa
