Cosmetics surgery continues to be a common practice amongst people, and it has been gaining a lot of popularity in the United States (Tandon, DeLong, Ballard, Clemens, Brandt, Kenkel & Cederna, 2018). Media personalities who have received a successful cosmetic surgery tend to create a lot of influence in the people, and many tend to do it. The images and video shows on the televisions show how the surgeries transformed the personalities into their current selves. The United States is the country with the highest number of people having cosmetic surgeries every year, followed by Brazil. In 2015, more than 4 million people in the United States had cosmetic procedures done on their bodies. The most common cosmetic surgeries that people have are meant to alter their bodies, restore, and to reconstruct some of the body parts. Breast implant procedures are the most common among all the cosmetic surgeries, with many women preferring to enlarge their breasts using implants. The other common cosmetic procedures include removing unwanted fats from the body and also shaping of the nose. The exercises have increased the number of cosmetic surgeons.
