Why Technology in Healthcare
I choose to lobby for financial in technology in healthcare since it presents a critical aspect of the improvement of the wellbeing of the public. I believe that a healthy nation is a wealthy nation. Health care is essential for all individuals in society, as nature provides unavoidable circumstances each day that people have to seek medical attention. Technology brings about quality healthcare services and inherent qualities that shape any health care program. Technology is a crucial aspect in the healthcare industry with its cist and relevance availability complements to the needs of the society towards effective and quality services (Skinner, 2017).
Technology in Healthcare
It is impossible to appreciate the current advancements in the health industry without reflecting on what technology has made us achieve in the industry. Not long ago, patients had to see the doctor physically for consultation, diagnosis, and provision of therapy. In the past years, all health records were captured on papers that were piling in the medical offices. The modern medical field technology has primarily contributed to improved patient care. Technology is very pivotal in the provision of current and cutting edge treatment procedures that result in less pain and effective healing. Various technological advances have also been seen in health record keeping. With the Electronic Health Record (EHR), there will be a reduction in errors and mistakes that occur during patient health record keeping. (Skinner, 2017) Electronic Health Records have also mainly contributed to improved patient care and the entire health care system.
